With that, Guile's time in the spotlight comes to a close. This is probably the first street fighter 4 combo video on youtube, and these combos are well put together starting with simple to combos, then going to the more complex combos with it even linking super and ultra moves in one going. It's definitely a challenge to perform that input during an actual fight, but for those that get the hang of it, the moves will come in very handy. Mashing jabs is homage to TZW ultimate Guile. Instead, you have to charge diagonally back, then circle forward, circle to diagonally back and then jump to diagonally up. Unfortunately, Guile's Super and Ultra Combos can be particularly tricky to do, because they aren't typical charge attacks like the hold back, forward, back, forward techniques used by Chun-Li. These are basic examples of course, but demonstrate that two Special Moves can go a long way when you investigate their potential. For example, the Sonic Boom can be executed directly after a crouching light punch, while the Flash Kick can be strung together with a crouching medium punch. Although Guile lacks Special Move variety, his Sonic Boom and Flash Kick can combo nicely with his normal attacks. Alternatively, the Flash Kick sends Guile leaping upwards in a wide, arcing kick that can not only strike jumping opponents but it can also be used on a close-range, standing opponent. The Sonic Boom, as you probably already know, sends a spinning projectile across the screen. The funny thing about Guile is that he only has two Special Moves: the aforementioned Sonic Boom and Flash Kick. Although Guile has much better combos to consider, this one works especially well for beginners. Guile also has a Target Combo, which chains together a crouching medium kick with a standing medium punch (more specifically, his Straight Chop) for an easy two-hitter. Not only can this attack be used in several combos, but it's great for playing mind games, as it usually appears that Guile is about to sweep when in fact he can immediately hit high with the kick. One of Guile's most appealing Unique Attacks, however, is the Guile High Kick, which is actually executed from a crouching position. Guile also boasts several Unique Attacks, including a nice Spinning Back Knuckle and a very quick knee attack in the form of the Knee Bazooka. The muscular officer not only has the two standard throws to use but also two aerial grabs which will result in Guile tossing his opponent to either side, giving you some ability to control your placement following a successful throw.
